This guide takes you from a brand-new account to a fully connected client. The whole thing takes just a few minutes, and the Free plan lets you do all of it with one client and no credit card.

1. Create your account

1

Go to the sign-up page

2

Use Continue with Google for the fastest path, or enter your email and a password. If you sign up with email, check your inbox for a confirmation link.
3

You're in

You land on your dashboard on the Free plan — one client, full features, no credit card required.

2. Run the setup wizard

The Setup page walks you through connecting your accounts and adding your first clients. You can reach it any time from the left sidebar.
1

Connect Stripe

Paste your Stripe Secret key to sync client subscriptions, payment dates, and revenue automatically. See the Stripe guide for exactly where to find your key.
2

Connect Meta Ads

Click connect and sign in with Facebook to authorize your Meta ad accounts. See Meta Ads.
3

Connect Google Ads

Click connect and sign in with Google to authorize your Google Ads account. See Google Ads.
Every integration is optional. Connect only the ones you use — you can add the rest later from the Integrations page.

3. Add your first client

1

Add a client

From the dashboard, click + Add Client (or add clients during the setup wizard).
2

Fill in the basics

  • Company Name — how you’ll recognize this client on your dashboard
  • Campaign Type — the service you provide (lead gen, e-commerce, SEO, paid ads, or social media management)
  • Product / Service — what they sell, shown on the client row
3

Link billing

If Stripe is connected, pick the client’s Stripe subscription from the dropdown to auto-track payments and revenue. Otherwise, enter their monthly revenue and payment status manually.
4

Attach ad accounts

Connect the client’s Meta and/or Google ad accounts so ClientPlug can pull campaign performance. See Campaigns.
5

Save

The client now appears as a row on your dashboard.

4. Sync and monitor

Click Refresh on the dashboard to pull the latest data from Stripe, Meta, and Google. From here you can:
  • See payment status and monthly revenue per client
  • Expand a row to view its Meta and Google campaigns
  • Watch your total MRR update at the top of the dashboard
  • Add to-dos for each client
