ClientPlug has two kinds of to-do lists: client tasks attached to a specific client, and a personal task list that’s just yours. Both are available on every plan.

Client tasks

Client tasks live with the client they belong to. Open them from the client’s tasks icon (clipboard) on the dashboard.
  • Owners and admins can create, edit, and complete client tasks, with optional due dates.
  • Employees see client tasks read-only for clients assigned to them, and can add any task to their own personal list with the + button.
Use client tasks for work tied to an account — “send monthly report,” “refresh creatives,” “follow up on invoice.” Anyone with access to that client sees the same list.

Personal tasks

Your personal task list is private to you and appears on the dashboard (in the right column on desktop, below the table on mobile). Any user — including employees — can use it.
  • Add tasks manually, with optional due dates.
  • Pull a client task into your personal list with the + button so it shows up in your own queue.

Due dates

Tasks with due dates are color-coded so priorities are obvious:

Overdue

Shown in red — past its due date.

Due soon

Shown in amber — due today or tomorrow.

Upcoming

Shown in gray — due later.
Tasks with due dates also appear on your Calendar.

Completing tasks

Check a task off to mark it complete. Completing a client task and completing a personal copy of it are tracked separately, so finishing your personal copy doesn’t change the shared client task (and vice versa).
