Connecting Meta lets ClientPlug pull campaign spend, results, and
cost-per-result from your Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ad accounts and attach them
to the right clients.
Open the Meta step
Go to Integrations → Meta Ads (or the Connect Facebook step in the setup
wizard).
Sign in with Facebook
Click connect. You’ll be sent to Facebook to sign in and authorize
ClientPlug to read your ad accounts.
Authorize
Approve the requested permissions. You’re returned to ClientPlug with your
Meta account connected.
You can connect more than one Facebook profile if you manage ad accounts
across different logins. Each connection is labeled so you can tell them apart.
Attach ad accounts and campaigns
Pick an ad account
On a client record, attach the Meta ad account that runs their campaigns.
Assign campaigns
Expand the client on the dashboard and choose which campaigns to track in
the Meta Campaigns column.
Sync
Click Refresh to pull spend, results, and cost-per-result.
See Campaigns for what each metric means and how
cost-per-result targets are color-coded.
Connection lifetime
A Meta connection stays valid for about 60 days. When it’s close to
expiring or has expired, ClientPlug will prompt you to reconnect — just sign in
with Facebook again from the Integrations page. Your assigned campaigns are
preserved; reconnecting simply restores access to refresh their data.
What ClientPlug accesses
ClientPlug requests read-only access to your ad accounts and campaign
insights so it can display performance. It does not create, edit, pause, or
spend on your campaigns.
Disconnecting
Disconnect Meta from Integrations at any time. Existing campaign data stays
visible in ClientPlug but won’t refresh until you reconnect.
You can also remove ClientPlug’s access from your Facebook account’s Business
Integrations settings. To request deletion of the data ClientPlug has stored,
see Security & data.
